This image shows where the location of TXPanel3 will be emplaced at the Texas Vista site on the Glorieta Battlefield.
The blue flag marks the location for TXPanel3. The remnant of Pigeon's Ranch is visible (barely) at a few inches NNE of the big boulder in this image. One can see NM50 state highway in the mid-ground with Pigeon's Ranch just on the otherside of NM50.
The trees will be trimmed (not removed) to open the view of Pigeon's Ranch. During the Battle of Glorieta (3/28/1862) the vegetation cover here was much less than today.
