Fellow Compatriots,

There will be a 1st Brigade meeting on Saturday, 6/2/07 at 1st Brigade Commander Formhals' residence located in Albuquerque, NM, 1pm - 3pm, for camps 1385, 2033 & 2075.

All 1st Brigade members are invited to attend this meeting where upcoming events and operations will be discussed.

For those who do not know the location of Commander Formhals' residence please e-mail him by clicking here. Refreshments will be provided by Camp 1385. All members of camps 1385, 2033, & 2075 as well as members from the 2nd Brigade are invited.

Fellow Compatriots,

There will be a 1st Brigade meeting on Saturday, 4/14/07 at 1st Brigade Commander Formhals' residence located in Albuquerque, NM, 1pm - 3pm, for camps 1385, 2033 & 2075.

All 1st Brigade & 2nd Brigade members are invited to attend this meeting where upcoming events and operations will be discussed for the remainder of 2007.

These upcoming events and operations include:

¥ The NMSCV Division Conference and 2nd Brigade"Southern Brigade" will be held at Fort Seldon on or about 5pm, Saturday, April 21, 2007.
¥ A Conferderate Memorial Day service by the Southern Brigade will be held at Fort Filmore on Sunday, April 22, 2007 -- time TBA at the Division Conference on April 21.
¥  The 1st Brigade, in conjunction with Nora Mitchell McDowell Chapter #2228 UDC-NM, will hold its Confederate Memorial Day event at Santa Fe National Cemetery on Sunday, April 29, 2007 beginning at 1pm.

Fellow Compatriots,

On Saturday, 7/29, beginning at 3:00pm NM SCV Camps 1385, 2033, & 2075 will co-host a social event at Earl Mount's hacienda. All Company C & NM SCV members and significant other are invited. Food & beverage provided courtesy of the aforementioned SCV camps. Please bring a lawn chair and swim wear as the Mounts have a large swimming pool.

There will be a 1st Brigade meeting on Saturday, 9/10/05 at 1st Brigade Commander Formhals' residence, 1pm - 3pm, for camps 1385, 2033 & 2075. For those who do not know the location of Commander Formhals' residence please e-mail him by clicking here.The principal meeting subject is the upcoming Christmas event. Commander Formhals will be in charge of this subject. Also, we will discuss the 2006 SCV reunion and current budget. Commander Red is in charge of this subject. Each camp commander is responsible for informing Commander Formhals as to what his camp is doing for the good of the camp.

On Sunday, April 24, NM SCV camps 1385 & 2075 along with Co C, 4th Texas Volunteers will commemorate Confederate Memorial Day at the Santa Fe National Cemetery. All NM SCV camp members and 4th TX Volunteer members are invited. Camps 1385 & 2075 will host a luncheon for attendees beginning at 1:00pm at Tomasita's restaurant in Santa Fe -- to learn more -- click here and scroll down to the April 24 event entry.

Fellow Compatriots,

On Saturday April 2, 2005 Camps 1385 & 2075 will jointly meet in the Masonic Lodge on Osuna Road beginning 1:00pm. The principal purpose of the meeting will be to plan the Confederate Memorial Day ceremony at the Santa Fe National Cemetery scheduled for Sunday, April 24. Other topics that might be discussed include the pending call for the SCV Commander in Chief or, in the event of his absence, such other proper corporate officer, call a special meeting of the Confederation at the earliest practicable time before the
2005 Sons of Confederate Veterans General Convention in Nashville scheduled for this July.

Fellow Compatriots,

On Saturday February 5, 2005 Camps 1385 & 2075 will jointly meet in the Masonic Lodge on Osuna Road beginning 1:00pm. The purposes of the meeting are (1) for Pappy to report on his meeting with the Texas UDC ladies regarding the proposed movement of the TX UDC-owned monument at San Marcial, NM to Fort Craig and (2) for Pappy to report on his examination of a TX UDC folder allegedly containing information -- including a map -- regarding the burial site of the Confederate soldiers KIA at the battle of Valverde (2/21/1862).

Members of other NM SCV camps are invited to attend.

On Saturday January 15, 2005 Camps 1385 & 2075 will jointly meet in the Val Verde Hotel -- Socorro, NM beginning about 3:00pm after the Live Fire Shoot at the Socorro Gun Club.

Our next general Camp 1385 meeting will be held on 13 November 2004 at Temple Lodge #6, 3801 Osuna Blvd, at 1 pm-3 pm. Please plan to attend as we will discuss our current bingo operations, and upcoming SCV events for 2004 - 2005.
